This year you have a great opportunity to make your voice heard through elections. Be sure to get involved!

On April 4-5, 2008, ACCESS and the Arab American Institute hosted a voter engagement training in Dearborn, Michigan to teach people how they can make a difference this year and beyond. This manual will guide you through the building blocks of voter engagement; components of a voter engagement program, such as voter registration, Get-Out-The-Vote and grassroots organizing fundamentals. It's a great resource to get started on voter engagement efforts in your own community!

Night of 1,000 Conversations

On June 19, 2008, thousands of people from across the country will come together and discuss "What Kind of America Do We Want To Be?" You can host your own conversation on due process and our immigration system!

It's easy to get involved. Simply invite your friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, etc. to join you for a conversation. You don't have to be an expert on immigration; we'll provide everything you need to have a successful conversation!
