The Arab American Action Network (AAAN) was established in 1995 as a non profit, grassroots, community-based organization working to improve the social, economic, and political conditions of Arab immigrants and Arab Americans in the Chicago Metropolitan area. The AAAN does this through adult education, social services, mediation and crisis intervention, youth programs, community organizing and advocacy, cultural outreach, and working in coalitions with other like communities. All AAAN programs include leadership development components.

Founded in 2001, Arab American Family Services (AAFS) is a 501(c) 3 social service organization dedicated to empowering and
enhancing the lives of the Arab American community through educational programs and services. The goal of AAFS is to reduce the cultural,
language and religious barriers that limit Arab Americans and Muslim Americans from accessing existing services and opportunities for personal growth. In doing so, AAFS established programs and services geared towards empowering the Arab American community.
