Established in 1971, The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) is located in Dearborn, MI in the heart of the largest community of Arab Americans in America. With 36 years of service to the community, ACCESS is one of the most well-respected and well-managed Arab-American nonprofit organizations in the United States. ACCESS has 200 employees, 28 AmeriCorps members, and 34 board members. The National Outreach Department, one of nine departments at ACCESS houses the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC), which is a network of independent Arab-American community-based social service organizations. Formally launched in 2004, the network currently has 14 members in nine states.

Established in 1988, the American Arab Heritage Council (AAHC) serves the needs of the Flint area Arab-Americans and other recent immigrants. Alex Isaac, the full time Executive Director, manages the AAHC programs, fundraising and activities. In addition, an AmeriCorps member coordinates the daily services and is developing a senior nutritional program. Through public and private grants, the AAHC provides immigration services, tutors bilingual children, conducts educational workshops, hosts an annual health fair and an annual immigration fair and is active in diversity dialogue groups in Flint. In addition, the AAHC publishes a bi-monthly community newsletter. The AAHC is a membership organization with 14 individuals serving on the Board of Directors.

The Greater Lansing Arab-American Social Services (GLAASS) provides a range of services to the Arab-American community in Lansing and mid-Michigan, including immigrant orientation, ESL classes, housing, job placement, social services and information referral. In addition, GLAASS hosts community events such as potlucks and breakfast meetings with community leaders. GLAASS also conducts educational and outreach sessions on Arab Americans and Arab-American history and culture. GLAASS has no paid staff and one AmeriCorps member.
