The Philadelphia Arab-American Community Development Corporation (PACDC) was established in 1997 to provide social services to the Arab-American community in Philadelphia. The PACDC conducts after-school programs, hosts an annual Woman's health day, offers cultural outreach activities in schools, mentors youth, provides basic social services, advocates for children in the public school system and develops land for children's play areas and housing rehabilitation in the Arab-American community. The PACDC activities are coordinated by the volunteer Board of Directors. The PACDC recently hired their first part-time staff person.
