The Philadelphia Arab American Community Development Corporation (PACDC) was established in 1997 to provide social services to the Arab American community in Philadelphia. The PACDC conducts after-school programs, hosts an annual women's health day, offers cultural outreach activities in schools, mentors youth, provides basic social services, advocates for children in the public school system and develops land for children's play areas and housing rehabilitation in the Arab American community.

Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture is dedicated to educating youth in Arabic language arts, and culture. Al-Bustan offers structured exposure to the language, art, architecture, music, dance, literature, and natural environment of the Arab world. Al-Bustan strives to promote understanding and respect among children and youth of all ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds as well as within the diverse community of Arab-Americans. Within a welcoming educational environment, Al-Bustan supports the Arab-American community’s pursuit and affirmation of its cultural identity within American society, while playing a constructive civic role within broader American society. Al-Bustan emphasizes youth development and initiative; intra- and intercultural dialogue as a path to mutual respect; affirmation of culture to constructively counter prejudice and discrimination; and individual and community partnerships.
